MEET THE FOUNDERS
ielaf altoma is a career coach, college access advisor, and advocate working directly with youth, families, and organizations in Watts, CA.
Her journey as a refugee from Iraq to growing up in poverty in California eventually led to her receiving her Master's at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she learned to design programs that supported a positive identity and career development focusing on youth of color in low-income areas, and immigrant youth. Her struggles have provided her with a unique perspective she intends to use to empower and inspire people to reach their full potential while coordinating opportunities and resources that can positively impact the trajectory of one's life
LJ Stead is an entrepreneur, football coach, and podcaster. His inviting conversations have allowed him to build understanding, and trust with many members of the community regardless of age.
This small-town guy from Rochester, Minnesota, has built a 6 million dollar food and tech business. But he found his true passion for helping other entrepreneurs grow their businesses, from designing their logos to helping them create viable business models. And when he is done helping the adults, LJ is found playing football and basketball with the youth and even helping DJ at the weekly farmers market. LJ is the first one to offer someone help and is constantly sharing his skills, and network to support those around him.
